Scope

The International Conference on Fabrication and Properties of Metallic Nanomaterials will be the first conference organised by the Centre of Excellence "NanoCentre", related to nanostructured metallic materials. It will be oriented to the recent developments in manufacturing of metallic nanomaterials as well as their outstanding properties. It is intended that the conference will become a meeting place for these who wish to share their recent results and to exchange ideas. Young researchers will have a chance to encounter the modern science in nanomaterials. The programme will include invited lectures from the internationally acknowledged scientists, oral presentations and poster sessions. The anticipated number of participants is about 80 persons.

Basic topics

The Conference will cover fabrication, modelling, structure, properties and applications of metallic nanomaterials manufactured with the following methods:

  • Devitrification of metallic glasses
    • aluminium-based alloys for structural applications
    • soft and hard magnetic materials
  • Mechanical alloying

Venue

The Conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology. The exact address is:
Wołoska Str., 141
02-507 Warsaw
Poland

Language

The language of the Conference will be English.

Proceedings

The proceedings of the conference will appear as a regular issue of the Polish journal "Archives of Materials Science". The contributions must be in English. All the papers will be refereed and will be published approximately six months after the conference.
